QUESTION- BIOS Settings Capture/Playback Utility - ThinkPad

howdy folks,

Question about the "BIOS Settings Capture/Playback Utility - ThinkPad", i.e., "SRCMOS.exe".

The lenovo page says it makes a .CMS file, but I did not see any reference to what -form- the data in that file is in.

Does that file contain all your bios settings in readable plain-text format?

I doubt it, but thought I'd check, since I'd like to have a proggy that gives me that.

BIOS settings are not in the BIOS. The BIOS contains mostll low-level routines to act as a bridge between the OS and the hardware.
