Update optical drive (T30 - 2366-JBU)???

I have the T30 (2366-JBU)

I want to upgrade the drive to a DVD burner, but I am unsure which one will work.

Can someone who knows more help?

Will these work in my laptop??

You need an UltraBay 2000 drive...

73P3312 (aka 13N6827) will work with adapter 13N5113.

But there are several aftermarket drives that will work great that are around $149 or less.

User MadeInJapan is using a NEC ND-6500A. That particular model happens to need a customer faceplate though...

Or you can pick up a Panasonic drive on eBay...

I guess it depends on what you will be using it for...

I actually brought up specs on my system and it says "Ultrabay Plus"

UltraBay = UltraBay 2000 = Ultra Bay Plus

But, the UltraBay SLIM is different - 9mm high vs. 12 mm, I believe. You can buy an Ultrabay to UltraBay Slim adapter, though.
