Lenovo X61s BIOS Settings

#1 Post by kroseler » Mon Dec 20, 2010 9:00 am

We had a X61s get liquid spilled on it, we had another with a cracked LCD. We have combined the two into one machine and now need to make the serial number match whats on the outside of the machine and whats being reported in our deployment software.

Kevin

Do a forum search for HMD (Hardware Maintenance Diskette). We can discuss how to use it here, but not how to get it. It is proprietary Lenovo property.

It might be easier to swap the sticker. They can be removed with a hair dryer
