water damaged x61 tablet

have aquired an x61 tablet that has suffered a liquid spill when power connected power charge light comes on buy laptop is dead any ideas if it is fixable or is it only good for parts ?

You're going to have to take it completely apart and see where the water has damaged the internals, including a close inspection of the systemboard. Post a picture if you need assistance. It may be salvageable, maybe not. If it was only pure water you have a chance.
