WTB: T2x series shell

#1 Post by carbon_unit » Thu Mar 17, 2005 1:51 pm

Hi All,

I am looking for a T20/T21/T22 with a fried motherboard.
I have a T22 2647-9EU that has been beaten hard. (Really Hard!)
The case and the display are practically shattered but it works if you use an external monitor. So I need a dead T-series to put these parts into.

PM me with offers.

Thanks,
carbon

Why don't you take a picture of the tortured remains driving an external monitor and send it to IBM? They might want to use it in one of their "Takes a licking and keeps on ticking" spots Might pick up some change and they might restore it for you. Post it here too.

MadeInJapan: Both of those auctions have bad screens. I bought one this weekend with a good screen so the quest is over.

egibbs: The outside does not look all that bad but when you open it you see all the damage. Plus the hinges are bent.
Do you think IBM would do that? Maybe I should jump up and down on it a couple of times before I take the pictures of it.
