I finally caved and bought one for myself as a Christmas present. After finally getting my system to see the graphics card I can't seem to get drivers installed, and I'm completely stumped at what to do. I disabled my Intel graphics too when trying to install drivers. I tried multiple drivers, 2 from nVidia's site, and the install disk that came with it, and all stop responding. I also tried all three using Windows driver installer to manually extract them, which times out after about 15 minutes. System is an X200 with a 2.4ghz processor and Windows 7 64bit.
I'd really love this to work, as I keep it hooked up to an external monitor a lot (sometimes even 2), and I also like to play games here and there as well.

Maybe you already have it, but there seems to be a lot of info here:

Re: ViDock 4 Troubles
Make sure your video cards juice requirements fall within the capabilities of the Vidock. I was poking around on the Vidock site(Villageinstruments.com) over the weekend and noticed different Vidock boxes have differing wattage specs.
Past that little hurdle, I'd think your video card oughta work, as the vidock should be somewhat transparent between the card and your pc.
Don't know much about hooking this stuff up, but I did test a ViDock 2 several months ago with an ATI card and it worked fine, with no installation hassles.

Re: ViDock 4 Troubles
My GeForce 9600 GT is actually one of the few "supported" cards. I know the ViDock 2 had compatibility issues with the X200, and i'm not so sure they fixed it with the ViDock 4. I filed a support ticket. We will see.AMATX wrote:Make sure your video cards juice requirements fall within the capabilities of the Vidock.
