X200 idle temps seem high?

#1 Post by i-SnipeZ » Tue Dec 28, 2010 7:43 pm

I downloaded TPFC because playing Team Fortress 2 the last couple times it has shut off on me. My power profile at the moment is set to performance, and with background processes taking up 10-12% cpu, my CPU is at 60 celcius, gpu 62, and the bus 60 (those are the three highest, the others seem normal 35-45c). Odd thing is the last couple times I've pushed the system I've never seen it go above 72, BUT, when it does shut off, and I turn my computer back on, the fan revs to 100%, which it wasn't doing before it shut off.

Nevermind. I had it set to Smart instead of Bios. Now idling at 53C and fan speed is at 4092
