Real weight of 15" T42 ??

Do you know the real weight of the 15" T42 ?
I see 5.8 pounds some places, and 6.5 others.
What is the correct weight??
I got a quote for a 2379-DXU that listed an 8 cell battery (not 6 or 9 cell).
Is the number of cells for the battery incorrect?? Does the 2379-DXU come with the lighter or the heavier battery??

The 8 cell battery is a typo. The 2379-DXU comes with a 6 cell battery, and its approximate weight is 5.8 lb.

heh, i just noticed the shipping weight of my t42 with ultrabay battery: 12.8lbs. must be packed in metal or something.

The X40 I received had a shipping weight of 13lbs (but it did include a dock-- but even that didn't weight more than 2lbs)
