list of all t43 models

i bought and received a thinkpad t42 at the beginning of this month.. it's a t42 2373 M3U.. purchased through the EPP program thanks to a great friend!

only thing is, i'm very anal and it's driving me nuts that i have a t42 and that there's t43's out there! i spoke with ibm and they said that i have till april 2 to decide whether or not i'm gonna keep the one i just got.

i've pretty much made up my mind that i'd like to get a t43.. only thing is, there are so few listed on the ibm website. i'm gonna order a t43 as soon as possible and then after ordering it, send back the t42..

where are you guys finding all these t43 models not listed on the site? can someone please direct me to what ever list you guys are going from? thanks!!! much appreciated!

and also, if anyone knows of a t43: 14.1, 1400x1050 sxga, p m 1.86 or higher, blue tooth, fingerprint, wifi, (hard drive can easily be upgraded later right? so not much of a concern) please let me know!!!

any thoughts, or opinions, will be greatly appreciated!

The biggest selection of ThinkPads, many more than ibm.com, is on the education website http://www.ibm.com/education/us

Others have written they've ordered models found on the edu. site thru the Visa/MasterCard/Amex discount sites over the phone, if they're not eligible for an edu. discount. Read the sticky: FAQ before you buy... at the top of the ThinkPad T series forum for informative details.

I'm very pleased with my new T42 2373m3u found, and purchased with an alumni discount, thru the edu. site. My T43 lust/curiosity has greatly subsided. T43 seems like a small step, with an as yet unknown risk, up from T42. Yonah, around the corner, seems more like the next Coming Big Thing. Maybe, Longhorn, too?

As a buisiness notebook user I expect many productive years of use from my T42 before it's replaced.
