T43p and Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 6000
Hello Folks...
Im wondering if anybody here has experienced or read/heard of possible compatibility issues between the T43p and the newer generation of Wireless Mice.... if anybody has any leads on this, please let me know.
Thanks!!

I have been using the 6000. Mostly it's on a T400s but I also occasional swap it around to my T43 and X60s with no problems. Not sure if the T43p would be different from the T43 - I have not heard of any compatibility issues.Alejandro Audisio wrote:Hello Folks...

What exactly goes wrong? And on what operating system?
On the net I see a few things that might help:
Microsoft's own troubleshooting page:

"Argggghhhh! Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 6000" on CNet:

Im running Windows XP Professional... Im getting very slow response at times and also will have to do multiple clicks for the mouse to select a tab or button.... its strange as it does this at times, I cannot replicate the error systematically.

low battery can cause that.

Re: T43p and Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 6000
I have a Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard connected to my T60 that does the same weird things. Sometimes it doesn't respond neither to mouse clicks nor buttons on the keyboard, other times it types the same letter maaaaaaaaany times (Like that) or it repeats a backspace or an enter several times. This only happens sometimes, it can work fine for hours in between.
The batteries was the first thing I tried. I have swapped them several times and tried to move the wireless receiver around. I have replaced the mouse with a regular cabled one now, for other reasons, but still using the keyboard.
The receiver is connected to an USB port the dock, not sure if that can make a difference here. Alejandro: Is your receiver connected through the dock?

Hello Bjorn... thanks for sharing your experience. My USB receiver is plugged in directly to the laptop.
I have to say Ive just now "remembered" that this darned mouse has a battery.... Im such a dummy...
Let me try to change that before I continue to waste everybody's time with dumb questions.....
