hi all
as the title suggests, I seem to be having problems with my keyboard and trackpointer after installing service pack 3. basically nothing works in windows. I can't type, I can't move the mouse pointer. I have tried using another keyboard and mouse plugged in via my docking station which didn't work. I have tried working in safe mode but again, no joy. The keyboard does work in the bios and does seem to be enabled so I'm guessing it's not a hardware issue. I own a IBM T42 thinkpad running windows xp.
any help would be most valued!
many thanks!!!

Re: problems with trackpointer/keyboard
Hiya Funky*....
not sure if you searched for solutions here ...... as there has been a number of 'solutions' for SP3 update issues with TP ....... and might be wise to invest some time searching for solutions via the LINK of this fporum search above at the sign-in section.
Also ; you might want to backout the SP3, than install the Lenovo System Update
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-66956
...install all the 'recommended' and optional updates and then RE INSTALL the SP3......
Not sure if these help but hope you have some luck
Cheers
Mike
