385xd Hard drive enclosure?

#1 Post by lucasp » Wed Jan 05, 2011 9:03 pm

I have a 385xd that is having problems. I would like to get some data off the hard drive and I was wondering if there is a HDD enclosure that would work with it? It's got windows NT 4.0 on it.

Rather than an enclosure, why not consider a USB IDE/SATA adapter? Not only are they cheaper, but they are more versatile if you frequently work with computers since they accept a variety of drives. Desktop and laptop PATA as well as SATAs can be accessed with the adapter. I got a Rosewill brand for $20 and it works great and I've used it on more than one occasion to recover data from desktop/laptop drives. NewEgg currently has a promotion on them with free shipping. Here is the link....
