Hi,
I searched the forum for KingMax, since they have 1GB module for ~ $160 now. Most posts indicate that the memory "work", but I found one disturbing post about the performance, from someone who actually ran a test, before and after installation:
http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.ph ... ht=kingmax
He is saying that the speed of that memory is about 70% of the speed before the upgrade.
Perhaps someone can comment on that? Repeat the test and see if it is the usual case with this ram?
Explain it?
KingMax 1GB, Performance? Anyone?
