ThinkVantage Toolbox Crash

#1 Post by Mick » Fri Jan 07, 2011 6:40 am

Every time I click on setting button, up right side the page of the program, it crashes.
All the system is up to date, I even tried to reinstall it with no solution.
Does anybody have the same problem?
Any suggestions?

Thank you,
Michele

Is there an error message? Check the system log, application section, for a red flagged event around the time of the crash.

The only message I have is a popup: An error occurred, Windows will try to find a solution on-line...
Unfortunately there are no red flags, no available solution for this problem.
This problem happens only when I click on the setting button just next to the question mark button of the ThinkVantage screen page.
I'd like to use this function again, but I do not know how.

Thank you,
Michele

Why not try removing the toolbox software and reinstall it again. That won't hurt anything. The key is to remove it first...reboot...and reinstall. (Unless you already followed those steps)

Good luck...

Bad news.
I removed, reboot and reinstall the software again... no success.

Try restoring back to a date when it was working OK.
