X41 Tablet Mini-PCI Wireless Cards

#1 Post by gb_ibmguy » Fri Jan 07, 2011 9:35 pm

I know it's been asked many times, sorry. Yes, I tried the search - no luck, so...

Are there any Mini-PCI cards that work in an X41 Tablet that support wireless N?
I have an Intel A/B/G card, which is dandy, but does not support N
My wireless network is setup using a Linksys WRT610N. Both bands doing only N and using wep2 / AES

At present, I'm using a Linksys PCMCIA N card that works in the X41, but would like to use the internal Mini card. My other A31P's are using Linksys WPC600N PCMCIA cards.

Thanks,

GB

i used the no 1802 on an x30 and an x40 and it worked with a floppy. it doesn't look like it works with an x41 but they used linux live and cd's. maybe a floppy will work. there are no n cards supported by the x41 but if the no 1802 works, you could put any card in there that fits.
