t60 s-video

#1 Post by jcnj6 » Wed Jan 12, 2011 8:53 pm

i have a t60 2007-c2u
is there a way to add an s-video output?

I want to show videos on a big screen tv
the tv also has analog (rca), HDMI inputs
either one of these are ok too

will a docking station do this?
which one? what model #'s? (probably not a port replicator)

is there another device that will work?
usb or vga converter?

Thanks
Rich

I use an Advanced Mini Dock's DVI output with a DVI to HDMI cable to drive my TV...works perfectly at native resolution (1080p). The Advanced Dock will work, too, but costs significantly more. Either way, the dock's DVI port with an HDMI to DVI cable will give you the best results. Plus, if you're hooking it up to a surround receiver, the digital coaxial audio out on the dock will pass your surround signal just fine, too.
