T43p and dual monitors, possible?

#1 Post by lukee » Thu Jan 13, 2011 4:03 am

Hello, I am thinking about buying another LCD monitor for my T43p because I need many windows opened at the same time. I already have an Samsung 20" LCD connected to the DVI port on dock. Is possible to connect a second LCD (let's say 20 - 22" with 1680x1050) monitor through the VGA connector and use both at the same time?

OS: Windows 7
VGA drivers: original ATI Catalyst for Vista
Current: T420
Previous: T400, T43p Flexview, T40, R52, T43p 14"
My first ThinkPad was 570

yes you can. But if you run anything complex, then it will cause a dramatic slowdown of the laptop.
Current ThinkPad: T430u, T430s, X1 Carbon, X1, X230t, X220t, X230, X220, X201t, W520, W701ds, T500, T420 and many more
