FS: T400 RAM and Hard Drive

#1 Post by RTAdams89 » Thu Jan 13, 2011 10:20 pm

After several upgrades to my T400, I have the following items available:

Also, I have some other miscellaneous items available including:

1x 500GB Seagate Barracuda SATA Desktop Drive ($30, plus shipping)
1x Like New but no box Microsoft Wired Keyboard 600 ($10, plus shipping)

I can take PayPal or check. Prices are negotiable, especially if you are buying multiple items. If you want references, you can view my eBay feedback under the same screen name.

Can you post the SMART attribs for the desktop drive?

Thanks!

The USB - SATA connector I have won't let me get SMART info for the 500GB desktop drive. I did run a scan for bad sectors, and none were found. Since it was used as a backup drive (connected once a week), the total hours on it should be rather low.

For the 160GB WD Scorpio Black drive, here is the SMART report:

Device WDC WD1600BEKT-00F3T0 SMART Info (ID/Value/Raw Value/Worst/Threshold)
1 200 0 200 51
3 152 1375 150 21
4 100 227 100 0
5 200 0 200 140
7 100 0 253 0
9 99 851 99 0
10 100 0 100 51
11 100 0 100 0
12 100 200 100 0
192 200 102 200 0
193 193 23086 193 0
194 119 24 97 0
196 200 0 200 0
197 200 0 200 0
198 100 0 253 0
199 200 0 200 0
200 100 0 253 51
------------------------

The info you probably care about:
Work time: 851 hours
Reallocated sectors: 0

Uh... do you happen to have the labels for the values? My memory's a bit foggy...

851 hrs. is pretty good though, so I'm definitely interested.

All the labels are defined here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S.M.A.R.T.

You can double check for yourself, but all the SMART values reported indicate a good drive.
