I have an R-60 (originally 9457-Y27). Currently with T2400 Core Duo processor and 1 GB RAM. Running Windoze XP SP2. Latest driver from Lenovo is in place.
Atheros WiFi seems slow compared to Intel-powered R52/T43 machines here. This is in a side-by-side test. Intel WiFi is the 2200.
I noticed in an earlier thread some mention about Hardware Scanning slowing down the WiFi. What else could be the problem? Would a WiFi card change make things better? Maybe my Atheros card is starting to fail?
