Hi,
I have a single core X100e notebook and I have the following problem.
At least 3 to 4 times a day the notebook freezes up for about 30 seconds. Then it continues like nothing happens.
I looks like the processor stops working but it always starts up again after the 30 sec time interval. I never have to restart it.
I down loaded at the Lenovo website the latest driver and bios package (1.22) but it is still doing it.
Can anybody guess what is happening?
Thanks,
Abew

Re: locking up for about 30 seconds
I'd keep task manager open on my desktop and look at tasks and CPU utilization while the freeze occurs. Perhaps there's a task or program causing this. Also, I noticed your other thread ref. Lenovo toolbox stopping...so try uninstalling it. Perhaps it's related to this issue.

Re: locking up for about 30 seconds
I had an issue with random freezing as well, but seemed to go away when I installed this:

In lieu of the Generic AHCI driver that Windows 7 put on (retail 7, not preload).
However, my APS doesn't work, which may or may not be related.
