Lid lock hook broken

Is it easy to repair when one of the two lid hook (top of the screen) is broken ? (T410s)

Is this machine out of warranty? It's not very difficult. You'll have to purchase a new latch mechanism. The hardest part is removing the LCD bezel. Go easy, some folks here have broken the T410s LCD's by just pushing on it with their thumb while adjusting the cover. Here's the maintenance manual for assistance. There should be a parts listing towards the back of it too -

I could be wrong, but I think the latch is not sold separately, and that you need to replace the whole lid

I think this is what you are looking for - See page 185 of the HMM - "Base miscellaneous parts:" (FRU: 60Y4866) - LCD latch knob (right hand), LCD latch (left hand), Latch link wire, LCD latch spring etc. For removal/replacing of the LCD latches see page 132 of the HMM.
