LCD Replacement

Hello, I just took out the LCD screen from my IBM ThinkPad T40. The FRU P/N is 11P8352. I can't really find a replacement under $100, but I found this site that is selling one. http://www.bobjohnson.com/_store/displa ... &MPID=gofr

The FRU P/N is the same, but the last number is a 4, not a 2. Will this fit my ThinkPad anyways? Or dose it need to be the EXACT P/N? Thanks!

As long as it's 14" XGA from a T4x/R5x, you'll be fine.

I know its a 14", but what is XGA??

XGA - 1024 x768 resolution, which is what you have now.

Thanks for the info. I was hoping this screen would work for my ThinkPad, its only $29! All the other ones where over $50. Thanks.
