R61e N router problems

#1 Post by Me2 » Sat Feb 05, 2011 8:12 am

I have a R61e running Windows XP SP3. I recently got a N router. At first things were fine I just got a few messages about the wireless connection now being connected. But now the messages are more frequent (I'm guessing it's dropping the signal?) and it will also say that it could not connect to any of my preferred networks and take a few minutes to get the connection back. It isn't that big of a deal since I am connected to the network via cable as well but I am getting tired of Windows notifying me every few minutes.

Try going to device manager:
/network adapters/
/right-click wireless adapter to get properties/
/click advanced tab/
/click roaming agressiveness -- set to lowest/
click out
