X201s laptop bag SF Bags Vertigo Replacement?

#1 Post by dfumento » Sat Feb 05, 2011 1:51 pm

I had this perfect laptop bag for a 12" laptop, the Waterfield Designs Vertigo.
http://www.sfbags.com/products/vertigo/vertigo.htm

Well, the bag got stolen and I ordered a replacement but they no longer make the size for the 12" laptops :-(

The size that fits which is the size they sent me (the Medium) is way, way too large!

They changed their sizing and this is the size I had before which is no longer available:

Small VertiGo $85 / 10.5" x 12" x 3.5" / 1.2 lb.

Notice it is good looking, light weight and vertical, and has some depth (3.5") where I can carry a book or two.

I can't seem to find anything at all to replace this bag, the type which I highly recommend. Any ideas on where to find a replacement?

BTW, with the introduction of the 11" (really 11.6") Mac Air laptop you'd think that this size would be really popular! Yet, I could not find anything for the 11" Mac Air.

TIA!

This one is real close in size -- the eBay seller has a link in his auction to the waterfield web page giving details: http://cgi.ebay.com/Waterfield-Racer-X- ... 2eb30eff20
