Requesting DSDT of MacBookPro1,1

#1 Post by rs1n » Tue Feb 08, 2011 8:44 am

Hi guys,

I would like to begin some work on DSDT hacking, and was wondering if anyone here could help me in obtaining the disassembly of an actual Mac with Model ID "MacBookPro1,1". Among this family of Mac notebooks are ones which had Core Duo (not Core 2 Duo) CPUs and came with ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 GPUs. If you have such a notebook and would be kind enough to share it, I would truly appreciate it. Any useful hacks will of course be shared.

Examples of MacBookPro1,1:

You can take my DSDT.aml from the "X60 / T60 / X61" thread and modify it to match to your ATI (see Silencer's thread about DSDT edit for dummies).
Lenovo X60t (6363-AQ8)
  • Intel CoreDuo 1,67 GHz (L2400)
  • 3 Go / 320 Go / GMA950 / FW 400 / SD Card
  • Bluetooth / Wifi AR5BXB6 / Tablet
WinXP / MacOSX 10.6.8 (DSDT patch and vanilla SLE)

Thanks for the response. However, I my interest in the DSDT from a MacBookPro1,1 (a real one) is really to be able to directly compare the Thinkpad DSDT. Having tinkered with DSDTSE, I have a strong suspicion that some of the recommended changes aren't actually needed (for me, anyway).
