Z61t refurb trackpoint issue

Running XP w/ svc pack 2. The track point won't move and yes it is turned on and I have gotten it to work before. My USB Logitech Laser mouse works fine, but I need the trackpoint. I am downloading all updates now. Any info is appreciated :?

Try a Linux disc. That should tell you whether it's hardware or software issue.
