I'm trying to make sense of the ultrabay connectors. I have a T61P that I'd like to do some video editing with. I aim to install a drive in the Ultrabay. So, my DVD drive has what I assume is a PATA proprietary connector. But if I look down into the Ultrabay cavity there are other connectors there too. There are four heavy duty looking ones I assume are for a battery then to the right of that is a connector that looks like it could be for SATA. Does anybody know what it's meant for? If it is SATA what part # connects to it?
thanks
Ultrabay connectors
Re: Ultrabay connectors
It's an SATA interface. Here's the adapter you need - http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-61161
