X100e Heat Issue: MV-40 vs. L335 vs. L625
Has anyone compared the temps on the different processor variants of the X100e?
Measured with CoreTemp, my L335 doesn't get all that hot, usually in the range of 40 to 60 degrees Centigrade depending on load, although the exhaust air and front of the bottom cover get quite warm. Thinkvantage power management is currently set to adaptive performance and active cooling.

mv-40:
50-70°C normal working with fan off.
Fan switches on at 70° and turns off at 60°.
High load is 70°C fan always running.

So I've got an L625, running W7 32-bit as shipped. All BIOS/Power Management is latest (BIOS: 1.31 / ECP: 1.24, PM 3.48)
I've been running CoreTemp(0.99.
for a bit now. I typically keep it on one of two profiles on AC: Adaptive or Lowest for the CPU.
Its low is typically around 52C.
It idles (with unrestricted airflow) around 59-61.
The fan sounds like it ramps up after it's been around 62-64C for a little while.
When CPU load is over about 80% on adaptive (playing game, watching videos, etc), the Core temps can get up to about 80-82C which seems high to me. (semi-restricted, on a hard surface... about 10 degrees cooler unrestricted, propped up on its side)
Can any other L625 owners post their numbers?

My CPU temp gets close to 90C when playing Starcraft 2, the CPU is always at 100%. However when using it for normal browsing or office work, the temp rarely gets over 60C. I always use the Thinkpad default "Power Source Optimized" profile. The temperature readings come from CoreTemp.
