I see this guy supports TRIM, which isn't common on most affordable SSDs. Any red flags on this model, anyone?

Re: Newegg.com - Kingston 64GB SATA 2.5" SSD $73.99 after rebate
I've been using a Kingston SSDNow V Series in two of my ThinkPads for about a two years now --
I have a 160gb in my favorite X200 -- it is made by Intel and listed as SA2M160G2GC2VV1 (haven't a clue what all those numbers mean) --
I have a 128gb in my son's X61m -- SNV425S2128GB --
Unfortunately I don't have the expertise to offer any info other than each of my machines with SSD's are like new machines after installing the SSD's -- they are so fast and responsive --even my little IdeaPad and my X100e are quick and snappy -- Boot time, depending on the machine is anywhere from under 40 seconds to under 60 seconds -- I really like that --
I purchased each SSD (except the one that came OEM with my X301) based on size and price, and I have ended up with Samsung, Kingston, Apple (which I think I remember was Samsung, but not sure) and Dell (which was Samsung) -- They all seem to perform equally well --

Here are some reviews from Amazon --> http://www.amazon.com/Kingston-SSDNow-S ... Descending
The only negative review is because the reviewer did not like the bundled cloning software! You have to read between the lines, as usual.
It seems like a good disk for the price. As long as 64GB is adequate for the particular machine / use.
I ordered one. (Note: Intermittently, NewEgg has shown the item out of stock. I tried to buy one this morning, but could not. It was available this afternoon.)

If you click on the "Feedback" tab at the Newegg.com page, you'll see a two claims of infant mortality and one of slow write speed.

Re: Newegg.com - Kingston 64GB SATA 2.5" SSD $73.99 after rebate
I got in on this deal as well. This will be the second Kingston SSD I own, the first (have owned it for 4 months) being installed in the T60P I am typing this on. I find them reliable and fast...so far. $74 is dirt cheap for this drive. Last time I paid $90 (for the previous model 64GB drive) if I recall correctly. It was from Buy.com using a similar large rebate. By the way Kingston seems to be pretty good about processing the rebate checks within a month or so.

Now it's up to $79.99, after rebate.
Mine just arrived, it only took two days.

That's why it's nice having a distribution center in NJ...quick turnaround for us Northeasterners!
Do let us know how it works out!

My order says it's shipping from Fontana CA. I'd be shocked if it only took (2) days.
