T60p Extended Display, Switches back to Duplicate (Win7)

Hello,

I'm trying to help out a customer and I'm at a loss on this one. The machine is a T60p 8743-CTO w/ the Advanced Mini Dock, and a Lenovo LCD attached on VGA through the dock, running Windows 7. The problem is that the external monitor will switch from Extended display to Duplicate every time the system is undocked and then re-docked. I haven't been able to find any way to get it to keep the configuration. Switching it to Extend using Win+P works every time, but once it's undocked it switches back to duplicate again.

Any Ideas? I've gotta get the machine back to the customer for now, but I'll keep a lookout for any suggestions for her. Thanks!
