X201T tablet button issue?

Hey guys, I m not really sure if this is something thats limited to only my x201t or its just something they've put in place to prevent miss clicking. On my previous x60t i would macro ctrl+z to the lock screen button and use it when I do some sketches and every press would produce this macro. On my newly aquired x201t i find that not every press will go through, but it will work if I press and hold for a split second longer. Is this something I should maybe get fixed or is it just something lenovo has purposely put in?

my X201T has the same behaviour, and I think it's just a bug. it isn't some setting you can change, and it is annoying.
