Fastest SSD in T410, SATA3 6gb/s: Intel 510 or OCZ Vertex 3?

I'm looking to replace 5400rpm main HD with an SSD drive.
Both intel and OCZ are making new generation SSD drives in 2011: Intel 510 and OCZ Vertex 3.
Will those new drives be compatible with my T410? Will I get the full benefit of the speed in the new SSD drives?

I'm planning on using the SSD as my OS drive.

Those drives will be compatible, but you will not get the full benefit of SATA III because the T410 is a SATA II machine. SATA II drives will probably be cheaper too. I'd vote for a Vertex 2 or an Intel G2.
