XP and Linux Dual Boot Setup

#1 Post by shorty » Tue Mar 22, 2005 2:38 pm

Has anyone setup both XP Pro and Linux to dual boot on the T42? If so, how well does it work? What are the procedures to follow in order to have such a setup? How much space is required? Any quirks I need to be aware of? Thanks.

Read above forums, posts.

People use different version of Linux.
I use Redhat Enterprise Release 4 with ATI drivers for 3d video acceleration.

Has anyone ran Solaris 10 on their TP yet? Just downloaded it the other day and I'm pretty new to UNIX/Linux. I used RedHat for a little while on an old Dell PIII desktop and Knoppix STD on my old Dell I8100 for a bit.
