T60 Intel 5300 not showing up in Ubuntu

Hey there

I recently upgraded my T60 to a new Intel 5300 Wifi card, which works great on Windows 7. However in Ubuntu 10.10 it seems to be deactivated somehow, since the little led indicator is not even blinking (off all the time) no matter in which position the wifi-switch (or fn combination) is currently.

Any suggestions?
