Deleting previously installed but unused com ports and etc.

Does anyone know how to do this? For example, because I had difficulty getting the WIDCOMM drivers for the BT stack to work, I have had my headset on COM port 3, 4, 5, 6. Basically, this is what I did.

1. MS BT stack is already installed automatically.
2. Paired my SE HBH-300 BT headset.
3. Installed IBM BT II drivers OVER the existing MS BT stack.
4. Repaired my headset.
5. Uninstalled the whole thing (BT stack) and reinstalled it using just the IBM/WIDCOMM version.
6. Paired my headset again.
7. Updated MS BT driver with IBM BT II driver.
8. Repaired the headset again.

Now when I look at the [censored] COM port, it's on 6 or some crap. It's not REALLY bothering me that much because I just reformatted and did a clean install of the system (without the R&R partition) only b/c there was something wrong with my recovery cd's so IBM is sending me a new set. I just can't wait b/c my TP is the only comp that has all my stuff on it. The rest of family uses a bunch of Dell desktops and laptops.

So, any ideas? I will be restoring the system once I get the recovery cd's from IBM but until then, I'm just using this.
