A31P is that a flexview screen?

#1 Post by Unknown_K » Thu Mar 17, 2011 1:16 am

I was working on a A21P and A31P today at the workbench (side by side). The A31p screen seemed nicer, is that one of those flexview screens people talk about? Both are 15" 1600x1200 screens.

Indeed all A31p originally came out of the factory with Flexview screens, while A21p did not.

It most certainly does, for the most people. And do bear in mind that DBU screens used on A21p/A22p are likely as good as any TN panels ever were...still a tremendous difference...I went from A22p to A31p many moons ago and never looked back...

Right there behind you, old chap... :D ...you can have all the T60ps that you want, though...I'm sticking with "no windows key" units...

I might not have noticed the big difference if I didn't have both running next to each other. The A21p screen is decent, comparable to my other thinkpads and other vintage laptops.
