How to trim Win7x64 preInstall(Rt7Lite+vLite) & postInstall?

I have Windows 7 Ultimate ISOs from MSDN.

I have both, the RTM and the new SP1 Integrated.

I have read, seen a lot about the custom 'lite' versions of the ISOs created by people using vLite and now more prominently Rt7Lite.

These trimmed down Windows 7 installs are super light and fast. Albeit some stuff might have been cut out.

I'd like a guide or some guidance/ advise on here on what I can do (with the ISO) using these tools PRE-INSTALL.

AND

What more I can do after INSTALL.. in terms of Drivers, Services, & Cleanups after the Install is done. Especially if I want to recover some of Disk footprint that gets eaten up . Also, which Thinkvantage Softwares & Lenovo Drivers really make sense in having v/s the MS Windows 7 drivers that get installed by default.

I am doing this for my X61 Tablet with Ultrabase (as shown in signature).

Once this is successful and I am able to use this for a month or two, I'll consider doing similar for my T61.

I'd really appreciate some guidance here.. since I skipped the Vista and am still running on XP Sp3. Thanks.
