WTB: T410s sealed, manufactured after March 8

I'd like to buy a brand new sealed in box T410s that is manufactured after March 8. (Before that, screens were defective and there were some other bugs).

I am looking for the 2901ATU
2.66GHz processor
with no NVIDIA
and preferable no SSD

If you have such a machine let me know.

How do you tell the man. date from a sealed box?

Man, ever looked at a lenovo box? They print the manufacture date on the label on the box.

desperately need one. They took the T410s configuration page off their website, while I wanted to order. And even the people on the phone cannot help me and are rude.

Oh. I just checked and I guess I never read that far down on the label.

Given you want a man date after 3/8 and usually there is a 2 weeks lead time from man date to distribution, I doubt you are going to find a reseller who has it in inventory now. Maybe after the 25th but that's still cutting it close.

BTW, I think there is a promo going on where you get an extra 2GB memory for free. Look out for that since the ATU comes pre-installed with win7x64.

Along that thought, maybe you want to check on the T420s while still hunting for the T410s. T420s should arrive in April.
