Power-On and Hard Disk 1 BIOS startup Password

#1 Post by brosen » Sun Jun 13, 2004 9:14 am

I had setup a Power On and Hard Disk 1 password, they were the same password, and at startup the BIOS asked for the password, just once, only for the Power On, and because it is the same for the Hard Disk 1, it will be done automatically, without entering again.

I do not know what changed, and now it is asking me for Password, for the Power On and for the Hard Disk 1, so every time I boot or reboot I have to enter it 2 times, somebody knows what it is going on with the password feature of the BIOS ?

Try removing all the BIOS passwords and setting them up again. You may have changed the User / User+Master stuff. I don't use Master, just User, and it works fine. ... jdhurst
