Upgrades for a 240x?

#1 Post by wm240x » Thu Mar 24, 2005 11:20 am

I currently have a Thinkpad 240x with the 500MHz Pentium III CPU, 192MB of memory, and a 40GB 7200RPM Hitachi Travelstar HD. I got this laptop for free; it's my main machine and I'd like to squeeze as much performance out of it as possible. My question is, are there any CPU upgrades available for this machine? Could I possibly put in a faster processor, like maybe a 750MHz or so? Thanks for your time!
