This product has a three year limited warranty which includes a ThinkPlus warranty upgrade. This product is entitled to parts and labor and includes on-site repair service. Service is available Monday-Friday, except holidays, with a next business day response objective.

Things to know:
- RAM is now 2x2GB for 4GB total. All 4 GB RAM are detected and usable.
- Vista COA is extremely worn and no longer legible. I installed Vista Business x64 with a serial I'm no longer using. No recovery partition.
- The WUXGA screen is absolutely gorgeous. No visible defects.
- Plastics are immaculate. There some VERY light scuffs on the lid from being in a laptop bag, but that's all.
- Battery is green and holds 92.7% of original. 78.15 Wh / 84.24 Wh design, 186 cycles. I just noticed a small portion of the battery casing is split. Never had any issues with it, but I can send pictures to anyone interested.
- The manufacture date is June 2008

EDIT: Machine just returned from EasyServe. No more loose power jack, as the connector was replaced under warranty. The warranty can be extended for another 1 or 2 years with Lenovo, if the buyer wishes.

I could be wrong but I think the power jack is supposed to be loose. It is designed to move so it doesn't snap off if you pull on the cord by mistake while it is plugged in.

It is next to the serial number in yy/mm format.

The power jack doesn't seem like anything is wrong, just feels weird. It could be how this machine is made

It is! However, I opted to go for an X201 in the meanwhile, and I'll also keep my T43p (not the worst of them all, either, it's got the 1600x1200 FlexView screen) for the big[tm] jobs.

However, you're going to have people queueing up at your doorstep to get the T61p whithin no time, I'd guess.
