Hello one and all!
I'd like to join the FlexView club, and from my research, for reliability, a T60/p with the GMA950 is the way to go. Since my pockets are only so deep, I may have to settle for a really barebones model, or even a fixer upper; either way, I'm confident that with help from this forum I'd be good to go.
Looking forward to punching my ticket!

The problem with your quest is that no T60/p left the factory with BOTH Intel graphics and an IPS/AFFS screen.
They were some corporate custom-built editions that would match those specs, but good luck finding one of those babies.

Thanks for the reply! Maybe I got confused; I was searching the forum for reliable FlexView machine info and I guess I was actually looking at frankenpads or custom hacked thinkpads.
So which FlexView T60 or later is the most reliable?

Re: LF/WTB: T60/p - FlexView - GMA950 - Good Deal Preferred
All of the T60's are reliable. Just choose one with the GPU that you like. It will have to be an ATI selection for flexview LCD unless you want to do a modification. Flexview T60P's come with either a V5200 and V5250 GPU. You can also find regular (non-P) flexview T60 models with Radeon x1300 or x1400 GPU's. Also your choice is limited to 15" models ...p1763 wrote:So which FlexView T60 or later is the most reliable?
