Adding Card Reader to T400
Which parts would I need to add a card reader to the T400? I assume I would need the reader itself and another bezel, but does anyone know the FRUs? And is this even possible?

Re: Adding Card Reader to T400
Wow, after looking at your reply to that topic that seems really involved, I thought it would be a lot simpler than that. I don't want to go tearing it apart too soon, after all I don't even have the machine yet...
I think I'll stick with a USB or a PCMCIA reader if that's the case.

Would something like this work? I know it says HP laptops, but I would think it would be the same interface.

I used this particular one with my T400 and still use it with my T500. Never had any complaints other than a random BSOD if you eject it while the machine is on. I keep it more or less permanently affixed. The card sits flush with the reader when it is in, which is a very nice plus compared to most other card readers(even on other notebooks) that I've used.

Adding Card Reader to T400
I found a nice little USB SDHC reader instead. Its only 2.99 on eBay, so that alone drew me in.
Most likely that will do the job for me, since I normally only use card readers for sd cards anyways. PCMCIA does seem like a more elegant solution though.
