Revocation of Certificate!!! Help

#1 Post by Greg Gebhardt » Sun Apr 17, 2011 5:47 am

I know this is a Win7 problem but on just about 50% of all the websites I visit with my T420s, I am getting the Revocation of Certificate message.

This is getting old and I wish I could just turn it off!

Not sure if this is your answer, but have you tried going to Windows Update and checking all the available updates? There is a "Root Certificates" update made available from time to time.

Greg,

I would go to Tools/Internet Options/Advanced tab/scroll down to Security and uncheck the following:

Check for publisher’s certificate revocation
Check for server certificate revocation

I am using IE9 with these two boxes checked and don't recall seeing this message.

Hope this helps.
