At some point the settings I had in Power Manager reset themselves. I previously had it so that the battery starts chargins only if it goes below 79%. Now, no matter how many times I go into Power Manager and set the threshold to 78 or any other %, it resets the moment I leave Power Manager, reverting back to "Always fully charge". Strangely, when I choose (in Power Manager) "Optimize for battery lifespan (automatically change for me)", the setting is remembered. But - as I said - choosing "Custom" and selecting some threshold percentage is never remembered.
Anyone else out there encounter this same maddening problem ? Is my ThinkVantage trying to ruin my battery ? (Not too long ago, I went through hell with Rescue and Recovery, with me swearing never to use it again - but that's another story/problem.)
