Sticking key -- X61s
Sticking key -- X61s
One key on my 4-year-old X61a has started sticking considerably. I assume I can pull the key cap off to inspect it and maybe lubricate it and snap it back on without breaking anything as I have on other Thinkpads, but I wanted to check first.
Re: Sticking key -- X61s
Yes...you can gently snap off the key cap, clean it and press the cap back on the keyboard. A Q-TIP with a little contact cleaner should be all you need to clean the key mechanism.
