T43 hibernate Issue..

#1 Post by papollonia » Wed Apr 27, 2011 2:55 pm

Hey Guys:
Hope all is well?

I have a t43..Love it, it meets my needs...

The problem i have is: it will go though periods when I can not get it to hibernate (Press blue fn(key) and f12.... all the other function keys are working..

Any ideas on what the issue is???

Thanks in advance.

Hibernation requires free hard drive space. What is yours?

That's plenty of free space...

The way I see it, there's a process in there somewhere that prevents the machine from hibernating. Go through Task Manager with a fine tooth comb and check what you need disabled to get the machine to behave the way you want it to.
