WWAN settings for AT&T Mobile?

#1 Post by xcguy » Thu May 05, 2011 5:33 pm

Trying to set up Access Connections for Mobile Broadband (WWAN) with the Ericcson F3507G minicard. I can't seem to get it to connect with Access Connections, but it will using the Windows 7 connection manager. However, speeds seem to be erratic and slow.

If someone else is using AT&T Mobile Broadband, can you share the proper WWAN settings to get it running at 3G speeds?

hi there
I have the NEWER x220; and dont have ANY issues with WWAN card;
However ATT often has the LOWEST SINGAL in most areas compared to Sprint Verizon etc ; PLUS for ATT you need to insert the SIM CARD and than get the "login" setup done. ATT isnt very good without their SIM! Sprint however works fine( I have Data Plans from Both) I also have a W520 with intel6359(3x3)WWAN - and even on that ATT sucks!

Hope this helps

Cheers

I believe the issues I was having were indeed related to the AT&T signal (and network). Today I took the laptop out on the road and found a location with a very strong signal. In that area, I was able to get as high as 3Mbps download speeds using the F3507g WWAN card. However, speedtests on the phone itself, report higher rates, in the range of 5-6Mbps.

Any tips for optimizing the performance on the F3507g WWAN card?
