An x120e Shipping Thread...

#1 Post by tbessie » Fri May 06, 2011 2:04 am

I ordered an x120e about a week ago. Shipping date is shown as 5/20/2011. How have people found the accuracy of their approximate shipping date compared to reality?

Just for folks' info, I just got the shipping notice from Lenovo - so it took a week or less from order time to shipping notification. Pretty fast!

I placed my order around when you did (estimated ship date was also 5/20), called in to cancel (my friend found a used one for less), and of course the next day I get the ship notice. I chose the 'free shipping' option, which was really $10 UPS standard or $10 UPS 2 day. Hmm.

Needless to say, I got the Lenovo x120e way before the other one (shipped from AZ), and somehow managed to get it before my friend who ordered his back in mid-April. Heck, his is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow.

Wait, so does that mean you have two of them now?

And yeah, funny that "free shipping" was $10, and 2-day was also $10.

Yes, I have two of them now. The other one didn't come with a hard drive (had a spare laying around) and has a 3-cell. It's so light!
