No power

#1 Post by MeCasa » Sun May 08, 2011 9:37 pm

If this was a desktop I'd post "I think it needs a power supply"

But if I say that about a laptop everybody wants to talk chargers.

My machine has no power on either the battery or cord and I tried 2 good cords and 2 good batteries. I'm thinking either power supply or switch, this is for a T61 and I have a T60 I can steal parts from.

I've tried everything, perhaps I should start moving the T60 switch over since that could be the problem? And if that doesn't work I'll move the power supply over as soon as someone tells me where it's at

TIA
Mike Lynch

Failed all easy tests and it now becomes less hassle to buy another. I'll stay in the same series and have lots of good parts since I'm at two and counting.

In all fairness I did wear one of them out and loved every minute of it, never did like the 61, too [censored] big

Oh well,
Thanks
